Jedediah “Jed” Pritchard (March 15, 1923 – December 30, 2019)

Douglas Puddle, Obituaries and Classifieds – Jedediah “Jed” Pritchard died in his place of business Saturday after a bowling accident. He was a graduate of Puddlegulch High School where he lettered on the varsity bowling team. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Bowling Industry Management and Technology on a full bowling scholarship. He moved to Singleton after college where he met and married Eleanor Ann Bowles before returning to his hometown where he worked for 5 years with Crumbpacker Feed and Seed before establishing the Bowlarama bowling alley.

Mr. Pritchard was an avid golfer and volunteered with the After School Radical Youth League.

He was preceded in death by his parents , 5 sisters, 3 brothers, first wife Eleanor, their sons Jeffery, Jud and Jim, their daughter Ellie Magillicutty, grandson Butch Magillicutty, and Mr. Pritchard’s second wife.  He was 96 years old.

Funeral services will take place at First Fellowship Assembly Restoration Church Wednesday at 3 p.m. with potluck dinner to follow.
